Key Qualifications:

  • Registered or certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Cath Lab technology and procedures
  • Experience with Interventional Radiology (IR) imaging and instrumentation
  • Familiarity with X-ray equipment, safety standards, and best practices
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Adaptability to fast-paced and complex clinical settings
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining confidentiality

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for Cath Lab and IR procedures
  • Ensure high-quality imaging results to assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
  • Follow protocols for radiation safety and infection control at all times
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Monitor and record procedure details accurately in patient records
  • Provide pre-procedure patient assessment and offer reassurance and support throughout exams
  • Maintain equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate effectively with biomed or service staff as needed
