Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Vallejo, California

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in Imaging as a Cath Lab Tech. This contract position offers immediate starts and the chance to make a difference in a fast-paced, modern environment committed to high-quality patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts
• May include weekends
• 40 hours per week

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid California Radiologic Technologist License required
• Fluoroscopy certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Demonstrated experience in a Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology setting
• Ability to adapt quickly to new routines and thrive as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm in urgent situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Ensure all safety standards and protocols are strictly followed
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures, delivering high-quality care
• Accurately document information and support effective communication among medical staff
• Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure recovery
• Maintain equipment and ensure all imaging tools are functioning properly
