Qualifications & Skills:
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or in Imaging (Cath Lab Tech)
- Competency in all technical aspects of cardiac catheterization and angiography
- Experience operating diagnostic imaging equipment in a Cath Lab setting
- Knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and rooms, ensuring all instruments are sterile and functional
- Assist physicians during procedures, providing accurate imaging and technical support
- Monitor patient condition and vital signs throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintain up-to-date records of procedures, supplies, and equipment usage
- Ensure compliance with hospital standards, safety regulations, and infection control guidelines
- Educate patients and families on procedure processes, as needed
