Role Overview:
You'll be at the heart of vital cardiac procedures, ensuring the secure operation of fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment and working closely with physicians and multiple departments. Your responsibilities will include crucial functions in adult and geriatric cardiac catheterization, from technical operation to direct patient care and emergency assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist circulating RNs with assessment and care for CVL patients, monitoring medications and lab results
• Accurately document patient information, procedural data, and analyze hemodynamic waveforms
• Set up and operate equipment, provide sterile assistance to physicians during procedures
• Dispose of hazardous materials safely and calculate valve areas/shunts
• Respond rapidly during emergencies, ensuring policy compliance
• Support with medication administration and ensure proper labeling of solutions
• Demonstrate proficiency during emergency codes as required
• Monitor and adhere to radiation safety guidelines for patients and team members
• Communicate effectively about patient status and alterations to healthcare team
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech with strong imaging skills
• Proficiency with cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
• Knowledge of radiation safety and sterile techniques
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
