An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Invasive Technologist to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to patient care. This 17-week contract features a weekday schedule and participation in on-call rotations supporting the Cath Lab’s essential services.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- On-call rotation on weekends (every third weekend)
- Two additional on-call days during the week
Required Qualifications:
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Credentialed as RT(R) (Registered Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a similar imaging-related Cath Lab role
- Strong understanding of invasive cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and teamwork skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging and assist physicians with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab
- Prepare, operate, and maintain specialized imaging and monitoring equipment
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
- Follow all safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and documentation requirements
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate in required on-call coverage
- Collaborate with nurses, techs, and physicians to provide efficient, coordinated care
