Step into a vital role as an Imaging Cath Lab Technologist supporting cardiac care for patients in need. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to contribute your expertise in a dynamic and collaborative invasive cardiovascular lab environment over a 17-week period.

Schedule:

  • 7:00am – 3:30pm shifts
  • On-call rotation every other weekend and every third weekend
  • Additional on-call required two days during the week

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
  • Registered Technologist with RT(R) or RCIS credentials
  • Skilled with sterile technique and operation of complex imaging and monitoring equipment in a cath lab setting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a cardiac team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist in invasive cardiac and vascular procedures alongside physicians and nursing staff
  • Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring systems during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment and ensure accurate documentation of procedures and outcomes
  • Respond to emergent on-call needs as dictated by patient care requirements
  • Uphold patient safety and comfort throughout all stages of the cath lab process
