Step into a dynamic imaging environment supporting vital cardiovascular procedures as a Cath Lab Technologist. Your expertise will contribute to advanced patient care and successful clinical outcomes during catheterization procedures. This contract position offers you the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled team in a state-of-the-art cath lab.

Schedule:

  • 3x12 hour shifts per week
  • Day shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Proficiency in imaging equipment operation and sterile techniques
  • Current certification (RCIS or equivalent preferred)
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other staff in high-pressure situations
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and organization

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the cath lab for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Operate radiologic and imaging equipment to assist in vascular and cardiac studies
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor as needed during procedures
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
  • Accurately document patient data and procedural information
  • Maintain equipment, inventory supplies, and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and families before, during, and after procedures
