Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Whittier, California

Step into a critical role supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures as a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. In this position, you'll leverage your expertise in imaging and cath lab techniques to deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts: 7:00am–5:30pm, 8:00am–6:30pm, or 9:00am–7:30pm
• Call responsibilities: After hours, every other weekend, and two weeknights per week (specifics will be discussed during the interview)

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• Registered with ARRT
• Valid California Fluoroscopy License
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
• Proficiency in both general cath lab and IR technologist duties
• Cath lab experience required; experience in interventional radiology strongly preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and provide compassionate care

Daily Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cath lab
• Assist physicians with cardiac, vascular, and other interventional procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and supplies
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide continuous coverage as required

$3,146 - $3,328/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
