Step into a highly specialized environment where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes in a well-equipped cardiac cath lab. This contract opportunity is ideal for seasoned professionals seeking to work with advanced technology and a progressive, collaborative team.
Schedule:
- Day shifts: 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 15:15)
- 5 days per week (8-10 hour shifts, dependent on department staffing)
- Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
- Call: Up to 3 times per week, including every other weekend with weekday call rotation (response required within 30 minutes)
Qualifications:
- Valid certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license (temporary license available; must apply within 48 hours of signing)
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent cath lab experience (no first-time travelers)
- Demonstrated proficiency in embolization, coiling, ablations, and device implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
- Skilled use of Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
- Extensive experience with STEMI care, with a focus on FTB/DTB times under 60 minutes
- Capable in both peripheral and EP procedures
- Ability to perform independently and confidently across all cath lab procedures
Responsibilities:
- Execute cardiac, peripheral, vascular, EP, and interventional radiology procedures using advanced lab equipment
- Independently manage dynamic caseloads averaging six cases daily
- Adhere to emergency team protocols, including staying on-site during events or providing relief as assigned
- Maintain meticulous documentation using EPIC and Cupid systems
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, supporting both colleagues and patients
