Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Zachary, Louisiana

Schedule:

• Day shifts: 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 15:15)
• 5 days per week (8-10 hour shifts, dependent on department staffing)
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
• Call: Up to 3 times per week, including every other weekend with weekday call rotation (response required within 30 minutes)

Qualifications:

• Valid certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license (temporary license available; must apply within 48 hours of signing)
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent cath lab experience (no first-time travelers)
• Demonstrated proficiency in embolization, coiling, ablations, and device implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
• Skilled use of Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
• Extensive experience with STEMI care, with a focus on FTB/DTB times under 60 minutes
• Capable in both peripheral and EP procedures
• Ability to perform independently and confidently across all cath lab procedures

Responsibilities:

• Execute cardiac, peripheral, vascular, EP, and interventional radiology procedures using advanced lab equipment
• Independently manage dynamic caseloads averaging six cases daily
• Adhere to emergency team protocols, including staying on-site during events or providing relief as assigned
• Maintain meticulous documentation using EPIC and Cupid systems
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, supporting both colleagues and patients
