Cath Lab Technician - Whittier, CA

Advance your career in a dynamic Cath Lab environment providing essential imaging services in a contract opportunity lasting 13 weeks. This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Technologists with a proven command of imaging procedures and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, 8:00 am – 6:30 pm, or 9:00 am – 7:30 pm
• On-call responsibilities: After hours and every other weekend, plus two weeknights per week (details discussed during interview)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current and active BLS certification
• ARRT certification required
• Valid California Fluoroscopy License
• Minimum of three years’ recent Cath Lab Tech experience
• Expertise in imaging for cath lab procedures and sterile technique

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate diagnostic imaging equipment for cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab setting
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to obtain high-quality images during interventional procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details as required
• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
• Maintain accurate records and patient files in line with institutional and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to variable shifts and on-call coverage as needed

$2,952 - $3,123/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
