CT Tech CT Technologist - Albany, NY

Excel in a dynamic imaging environment as a CT professional for a 13-week assignment, providing essential diagnostic expertise. This role supports emergency and inpatient imaging needs, leveraging top-tier technology to ensure accurate, timely scans. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am, with overnight independent scanning and support from an imaging aide for patient transport and positioning.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT(CT) credential mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years’ CT experience, with proven ability to work independently
• Proficiency in performing all standard ER CT exams, excluding specialties such as virtual colonography and cardiac CT
• Experience working with Siemens Definition AS scanner
• Comfort navigating Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems
• Strong attention to detail, reliable judgment, and ability to thrive in a solo shift environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of CT imaging for ER and inpatient populations, ensuring precision and safety
• Maintain high standards of patient care, including proper positioning and communication throughout the exam process
• Collaborate as needed with imaging aides for efficient workflow and patient movement
• Accurately document procedures and patient data within Epic and ensure images are properly uploaded to Visage PACS
• Adhere to all relevant departmental protocols and safety standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate concerns appropriately

$2,683 - $2,829/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
