Qualifications and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience as a CT Technologist, with strong imaging and technical skills
• Proficiency in operating CT scanners and general radiology equipment
• Knowledgeable in administering intravenous contrast media and monitoring patient reactions
• Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems for efficient image management and documentation
• Ability to uphold patient safety and radiation protection principles (ALARA, patient shielding, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, especially in patient preparation and documentation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and explain CT and diagnostic imaging procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and safety
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and maintain inventory of supplies
• Accurately perform CT scans, analyze patient anatomy, and operate imaging equipment
• Administer IV contrast media using appropriate procedures and manage potential reactions
• Support radiologists with advanced procedures, preparing sterile trays and assisting as needed
• Ensure proper acquisition, management, and quality of imaging in PACS
• Handle study indexing and data entry tasks in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Demonstrate professional standards, open communication, and a positive, inclusive attitude
