CT Technologist | Amite, Louisiana

Step into a dynamic imaging environment with a 13-week contract opportunity for a skilled Imaging Technologist specializing in CT and PET/CT. This position begins July 15 and requires a detail-oriented professional experienced in advanced imaging modalities. You'll be performing critical diagnostic procedures as part of an expert radiology team, supporting exceptional patient outcomes.

Schedule:

• Rotating 3-on / 2-off pattern (may vary)
• Shifts alternate between:
  • E1: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (10.5 hours)
  • E2: 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM (10.5 hours)

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(R) certification with CT endorsement preferred
• Active BLS certification
• Current Louisiana Radiology License
• Experience in CT and PET/CT procedures within hospital or large imaging settings
• Ability to adapt to variable shift times and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and coordination with healthcare staff

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and PET/CT equipment following established protocols to produce high-quality images for diagnosis
• Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately for procedures
• Analyze images and ensure accuracy prior to submission for review
• Maintain compliance with safety and privacy standards
• Document procedures and patient interactions as required
• Participate in on-site quality assurance and routine equipment checks
