CT Technologist - Angola, NY

A dynamic contract opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Professional skilled in CT, X-ray, and PET technology. This full-time role supports diagnostic imaging services with a varied shift schedule that requires flexibility to adapt to department needs.

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible shifts: 3p-11p or 1p-9p; may also work 11a-11p or 9a-9p as needed to complete 36 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Active New York State licensure required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
• Must possess a valid NY injection license
• Proficiency in performing CT, X-ray, and PET imaging procedures
• Previous experience in a clinical imaging setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate CT, X-ray, and PET scanning equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Review and evaluate images for clarity, ensuring proper technique and safety compliance
• Coordinate with physicians and medical staff to deliver timely patient assessments
• Prepare and administer contrast materials as required, following all safety protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation
• Adhere to strict infection-control and radiation safety guidelines
