CT Technologist in Angola, NY

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Imaging professional skilled in CT, X-ray, and PET technologies. This contract assignment is suited for a full-time CT/Radiologic Technologist ready to start as soon as possible. Multiple shifts are available, offering flexibility while ensuring a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Schedule/Hours:

• Varied shifts including days and mids: 3pm–11pm, 1pm–9pm, 11am–11pm
• Occasional 9am–9pm shifts as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Active New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Must possess a NY injection license
• Certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Proven experience in CT, X-ray, and PET imaging
• Ability to adapt efficiently to varying schedules and work independently in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality patient care

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate CT, X-ray, and PET imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Prepare and position patients according to protocols and clinical requirements
• Safely administer contrast media and injections, complying with NY state regulations
• Collaborate with referring providers and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold all documentation standards
• Follow all safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
