Step into a dynamic medical imaging role utilizing your advanced skills in CT, X-ray, and PET technologies. We're seeking a full-time, NYS-licensed imaging technologist who can cover a variety of shifts in a high-performing healthcare environment. This contract position offers immediate placement with a focus on delivering outstanding diagnostic services through a patient-centered approach.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Varied shifts, including: 3p–11p, 1p–9p, 11a–11p
  • Occasional 9a–9p as needed to fulfill a minimum of 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license
  • NY injection license required
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and NRP
  • Proficient working independently with CT, X-ray, and PET imaging equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize patient safety
  • Adaptability to cover different shift patterns as departmental needs arise

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT, PET, and general radiography procedures on patients of all ages
  • Assess imaging orders to ensure accurate exams and appropriate use of technology
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as authorized, maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Monitor and care for patients throughout procedures, delivering clear explanations and responding to questions
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold rigorous safety protocols in all technical processes
