This opportunity is based in a dynamic Trauma Level 2 setting, working across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient units. The contract duration is 13 weeks, offering the chance to collaborate with a dedicated medical imaging team.
Schedule:
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Shifts from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification and current BLS required
- Minimum of two years’ hands-on CT experience in a hospital environment
- Proven proficiency with GE and Philips CT equipment
- Experience with advanced workstation operations
- Ability to respond effectively in fast-paced trauma and high-acuity situations
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging for ER, inpatient, and outpatient care
- Accurately utilize GE and Philips scanners, ensuring optimal image acquisition and patient safety
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to support clinical decision-making
- Maintain detailed patient records and imaging logs in accordance with hospital protocols
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety at every stage of the imaging process
- Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures
