CT Technologist | Apex, North Carolina

Advance your imaging career in a dynamic acute care environment supporting a broad spectrum of patient needs. This contract position offers the chance to work in a multi-disciplinary setting within a 137-bed hospital recognized as a Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center. Services at this facility span cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, OBGYN, emergency care, gastroenterology, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, and wound care, along with a Level 2 Nursery.

Schedule/Hours:

• Orientation held weekly on Mondays

Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CT imaging required
• Current (and valid) certification/license as required by state and discipline
• Experience providing imaging services in hospital or acute care settings preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing high-quality CT scans and ensuring optimal imaging standards
• Collaborating with radiologists and other clinical staff to facilitate accurate diagnoses
• Assisting in maintaining equipment and reporting any technical issues promptly
• Adhering to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection prevention measures
• Documenting procedures and patient interactions in electronic medical records
• Supporting patient comfort, privacy, and individualized care throughout procedures
