CT Technologist in Apex, NC

Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• State license (if required)
• Previous experience working as a CT Technologist in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of CT imaging protocols, safety standards, and radiation protection
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and protocol standards
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, addressing questions and ensuring comfort
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, performing quality assurance checks as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals to deliver precise imaging results
• Accurately document patient information and maintain confidentiality following HIPAA regulations
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions during procedures, reporting any concerns promptly
