Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct general CT scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, as well as fluoroscopy and pediatric imaging with precision and skill.
- Execute CT angiography (CTA) procedures and complete all necessary post-processing efficiently.
- Deliver prompt, efficient care for trauma patients, acting swiftly in urgent situations.
- Demonstrate competence in handling medications responsibly during distribution or administration, including secure access to medication storage areas, as appropriate.
- Rigorously minimize radiation exposure for patients, yourself, and fellow staff, consistently prioritizing safety protocols.
- Produce high-quality, detailed images and uphold excellence in every aspect of CT scanning.
- Exhibit leadership by coordinating radiology care across various clinical settings, ensuring smooth workflow and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Certification and registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT or equivalent).
- Proven experience conducting a broad range of CT scans, including trauma and pediatric cases.
- Solid understanding of radiation safety practices and medication handling.
- Ability to maintain high standards in image quality and timely exam processing.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
