CT Technologist - Arvada, Colorado

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT), such as ARRT (CT)
• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Active, unrestricted licensure as required
• Proven proficiency with CT imaging procedures and equipment
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Recent experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is desirable

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort throughout
• Recognize and follow all safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Evaluate image quality and collaborate with radiologists for optimal patient care
• Maintain imaging records and related documentation accurately and promptly
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed and report malfunctions promptly
• Participate in regular quality control and continuing education
