Bring your expertise to an advanced imaging environment supporting patient care with cutting-edge technology. This opportunity is a 13-week contract assignment specializing in CT imaging, utilizing a Siemens 64 Somatom scanner. X-ray experience is also essential for success in this busy diagnostic department.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour evening shifts (Sunday through Wednesday)
• On-call responsibilities included

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT registration required
• Current California Radiologic Technologist License
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Fluoroscopy and IV certification required
• Demonstrated competency operating a Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
• Prior experience with x-ray imaging
• Ability to participate in call rotation as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Position Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality CT and x-ray images to assist in diagnostic processes
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment according to established protocols
• Accurately complete all documentation and image archiving
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness, troubleshooting minor issues as needed
• Respond promptly and professionally to after-hours call requirements
