CT Tech CT Technologist - Atascadero, California

An exciting interim opportunity is available for a skilled professional experienced in both CT and x-ray imaging. This position offers a fast-paced environment utilizing a Siemens 64 Somatom scanner, ideal for technologists who excel with advanced imaging technology and are keen to expand their expertise in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• 4x10-hour evening shifts: Sunday through Wednesday
• Call responsibilities required

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy certification
• Intravenous (IV) certification
• Proven experience with CT imaging and x-ray procedures
• Familiarity with Siemens 64 Somatom scanner preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality imaging standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and x-ray examinations according to prescribed protocols
• Operate Siemens 64 Somatom CT equipment efficiently and safely
• Assist with IV contrast administration and ensure patient safety at all times
• Complete required clinical documentation promptly and thoroughly
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care
• Participate in call rotation as needed
