CT Tech CT Technologist in Atascadero, CA

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in Imaging - CT to support care teams for a 13-week assignment. This contract position utilizes advanced technology, specifically the Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner, and requires hands-on x-ray experience.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts: 7:00am – 5:30pm
• On-call responsibility from 5:30pm – 10:30pm, 2 evenings per week after scheduled shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist License
• Fluoroscopy certification
• IV certification
• Demonstrated experience operating the Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
• Proficiency in general x-ray techniques
• Strong commitment to patient safety and high-quality imaging standards

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanner and x-ray equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Adhere to safety protocols for radiation use and patient handling
• Perform patient preparation and provide clear communication throughout procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams for optimal imaging outcomes
• Respond efficiently to urgent imaging requests and participate in call shifts as scheduled
