CT Tech Computed Tomography Tech | Atascadero, California

Advance your career in medical imaging by providing essential CT services in a dynamic hospital environment. This 13-week contract position is ideal for professionals with expertise in CT procedures, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4x10 hour shifts, Days (7:00am – 5:30pm)
• Call requirements: 2 nights per week, 5:30pm – 10:30pm following a regular shift

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Fluoroscopy and IV certification required
• Experience operating Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
• Proficient in general x-ray
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
• Operate and maintain the Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner and related equipment
• Prepare and administer intravenous contrast material as needed
• Uphold strict safety standards for radiation protection and infection control
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
• Deliver compassionate assistance to patients throughout the imaging process
• Participate in periodic on-call duties following scheduled shifts
