Travel CT Technologist in Atlanta, GA

Schedule:

• Night Shift: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00pm–7:30am

Key Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required.
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross equivalent).
• Minimum one year of radiology experience required; CT experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with clinicians, patients, and team members.
• Competence in CT procedures, quality control, and imaging protocols.
• Ability to perform independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Safely perform and document all CT exams according to department protocols.
• Independently position patients and operate imaging equipment while ensuring the lowest possible radiation dose.
• Diligently assess patient history and contraindications, following established procedures for contrast media administration.
• Consistently produce high-quality diagnostic images for clinical review.
• Adhere to regulatory standards, Joint Commission requirements, and organizational policies.
• Support team members, assist with patient transport, and maintain cleanliness/order of workstations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, restock equipment, and participate in cross-training as needed.
