CT Tech in Atlanta, GA

Deliver high-quality patient care as a CT Imaging Technologist in a dynamic setting. In this role, you will carry out advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, independently operating CT equipment to produce quality scans while adhering to department protocols and safety standards. Schedule:

• Night shift: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Hours: 7:00pm – 7:30am

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Credentialed in ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
• Current BLS certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
• At least one year of experience in Radiology required; CT experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and customer service skills
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and perform well under pressure
• Commitment to teamwork, compliance, and departmental protocols

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform CT exams per physician orders and established procedures, using critical thinking to accommodate patient needs
• Safely prepare and position patients, employing age-appropriate and sterile techniques
• Administer and monitor contrast media
• Review images for quality assurance and ensure proper patient identification
• Communicate exam details clearly to patients and families, taking time to address concerns
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, report issues, and comply with infection control guidelines
• Support colleagues across imaging modalities and assist in emergency situations
• Document accurately in RIS and PACS systems; manage exam records and log sheets
• Uphold regulatory standards and contribute to a safe, organized department
