Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
- Must be flexible to meet department needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging independently
- Verify clinician orders, patient identification, and complete pre-procedural verifications
- Administer and manage contrast media safely, adhering to all safety protocols
- Assess patient conditions and respond to emergencies, including maintaining life support equipment
- Maintain patient dignity, comfort, and clear communication throughout procedures
- Participate in quality assurance, equipment cleaning, and infection control
- Collaborate with other technologists and assist cross-modality as needed
- Document all procedures accurately, and ensure all imaging is correctly processed and uploaded
- Support training of new staff and uphold all regulatory standards, including Joint Commission compliance
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
- Active BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- At least 1 year’s experience in Radiology; CT experience preferred
- Proven skills in communication, teamwork, and patient care
- Strong multitasking, customer service, and independent problem-solving abilities
