Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: Saturdays & Sundays, 8:30am-7:00pm
Role Overview: You’ll deliver safe, age-appropriate care, performing CT exams in accordance with departmental protocols. This position demands flexibility, dependability, and cooperation while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for accurate disease diagnosis and treatment. You will leverage your independent judgment and technical skills for both routine and emergency scenarios, playing an essential part in patient-centered care.
Core Responsibilities:
- Verify clinician orders and gather comprehensive patient data
- Ensure patient privacy, identification, and comfort throughout procedures
- Administer contrast media per safety protocols
- Evaluate CT images for diagnostic quality and operate PACS/RIS systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; adhere to infection control practices
- Assist in training new staff and participate in quality control measures
- Communicate with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Keep workflows organized while adapting to fast-paced, high-acuity settings
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 1 year Radiology experience required; CT experience preferred
- ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications required
- Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills
- Capability to work independently under pressure and with diverse teams
- Proficiency in all technical and safety aspects of CT imaging
