In this contract position, you’ll play a crucial role in performing complex CAT scans across a variety of clinical scenarios, including trauma, pediatrics, and comprehensive anatomical regions.
Key Qualifications:
- Registered or certified CT Technologist with proven expertise in advanced imaging
- Demonstrated knowledge in conducting CAT scans for chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, and pediatric populations
- Experience with CT angiography (CTA), including post-processing techniques
- Strong emphasis on minimizing radiation exposure for patients and healthcare staff
- Capability to handle medications during the distribution or administration process, and access to secured drug storage areas as necessary
- Attention to detail and commitment to accurate, efficient scan completion and image quality
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills demonstrated through coordinated delivery of radiology care
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations, including trauma imaging
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform general and specialized CT examinations, ensuring precise and timely imaging
- Complete post-processing for all scans, including CTAs, to provide accurate diagnostic information
- Efficiently manage scans for trauma patients, addressing urgent clinical needs with calm expertise
- Maintain stringent safety protocols, expertly minimizing radiation exposure at all times
- Lead or coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless radiology services across patient care settings
- Uphold the highest standards in image production quality and patient safety
