Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of general CT scans, including chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, and pediatric exams, ensuring high-quality image production.
- Conduct CT angiographies (CTAs) with comprehensive post-processing.
- Deliver timely and efficient care for trauma patients, ensuring rapid scan completion and analysis.
- Complete post-processing of imaging studies promptly, maintaining workflow in busy settings.
- Apply in-depth knowledge to minimize radiation exposure for patients, oneself, and supporting staff, adhering to industry best practices.
- Handle medications during distribution or administration and access secured drug storage areas as necessary within job scope.
- Demonstrate leadership and initiative in coordinating radiology care across diverse clinical settings.
- Uphold departmental protocols and quality standards for imaging.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography, with advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Previous experience as a CT Technologist performing general scans and trauma imaging.
- Familiarity with handling and administering medications within a hospital imaging environment.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing priorities.
