CT Technologist - Baileyville, Maine

A skilled imaging professional is needed for a contract opportunity specializing in CT and PET/CT procedures. This position is ideal for an individual experienced in advanced diagnostic imaging modalities and passionate about delivering exemplary patient care.

Schedule:

• Day shifts with varying start times

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CT and PET/CT imaging required
• Valid certification as a CT Tech or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot CT and PET/CT equipment efficiently
• Prior experience in a clinical imaging environment highly preferred
• Covid vaccination required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
• Assess patient needs to ensure safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Properly position patients and utilize immobilization devices when necessary
• Monitor imaging outcomes for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
• Document patient information, imaging techniques, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver seamless patient care
• Uphold infection prevention and radiation safety standards at all times
• Assist with routine equipment maintenance and report issues promptly
