Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Computed Tomography (CT) technology
• Experience operating both CT and PET/CT scanners
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and CT
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols in imaging departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders
• Position patients safely and effectively to obtain optimal images
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians regarding findings
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring readiness and safety
• Document patient information and procedures in electronic medical records
• Apply proper radiation safety measures and consistently follow protocols
• Provide compassionate care, keeping patients informed and at ease throughout procedures
