Key Qualifications:

• Registered or registry-eligible in CT (ARRT or equivalent)
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT and PET/CT scanners
• In-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging principles
• Strong attention to detail with excellent patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff
• Current BLS certification
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures
• Review patient histories and clarify exam requests to guarantee optimal imaging results
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members regarding procedures and findings
• Accurately document and report results in compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements
• Apply radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
