Key Qualifications:
- Registered or registry-eligible in CT (ARRT or equivalent)
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT and PET/CT scanners
- In-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging principles
- Strong attention to detail with excellent patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff
- Current BLS certification
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures
- Review patient histories and clarify exam requests to guarantee optimal imaging results
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members regarding procedures and findings
