Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist with ARRT (CT) credentials required.
• Demonstrated experience operating both CT and PET/CT equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging principles.
• Proficiency in patient positioning, image acquisition, and protocol optimization for both modalities.
• Current BLS certification is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail with an emphasis on patient safety and radiation protection.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, radiologists, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and combined PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients safely; provide clear instructions and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Administer contrast materials as required, monitoring for possible reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Operate and care for sophisticated imaging equipment; troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other professionals to ensure accurate images and optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and participate in continuous education and training.
