Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT)
• Experience operating CT and PET/CT equipment in a hospital or outpatient setting
• Demonstrated ability to follow imaging protocols and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
• Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET/CT imaging procedures for patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging standards
• Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images for diagnostic review
• Evaluate image quality with attention to detail, notifying radiologists of preliminary findings as appropriate
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues
• Document procedures, patient data, and observations in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and referring providers for coordinated patient care
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and uphold all privacy and safety standards
