Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a CT and CT/PET Technologist (ARRT, NMTCB, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated proficiency with modern CT and PET imaging equipment
- Detailed understanding of radiographic safety protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Experience in hospital or acute care settings preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, critical care situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with physicians, patients, and colleagues
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and PET imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for procedures
- Review imaging orders for accuracy and verify patient identification
- Monitor patient well-being before, during, and after imaging
- Maintain accurate documentation and image records as required by facility standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety and infection control protocols
