A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging Technologist specializing in CT and PET/CT technology. This 13-week contract position requires certified expertise and hands-on experience with advanced imaging systems, including GE Optimum 64-slice scanners. The role focuses on cardiac imaging, specifically Cardiac CTAs and calcium scoring, providing critical support in diagnostic cardiology.

Location: Situated in the vibrant Boca Raton, Florida, the position offers the chance to work in a community known for its beautiful beaches, cultural attractions, and a high quality of life. Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and PET/CT imaging with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct cardiac CT angiography (CTAs) and measure calcium scores accurately.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide patient education and reassurance throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT certification in CT.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Proficient with GE Optimum 64-slice CT scanners.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cardiac CTAs and calcium scoring.
  • Strong understanding of imaging safety standards and patient care protocols.

Schedule:

  • Evenings, Monday through Friday: 3 PM to 11 PM (Five 8-hour shifts)
