Required Skills & Experience:
- Current ARRT (R) certification; advanced CT credentials preferred
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Demonstrated proficiency with CT scanners and associated imaging software
- Minimum one year of recent, hands-on CT Tech experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols and patient positioning for optimal results
- Excellent interpersonal and patient-care abilities
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental guidelines
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging exams
- Adhere strictly to radiation protection practices and facility policies
- Accurately input patient and exam data into electronic medical records
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff regarding technical findings and urgent results
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area at all times
