Required Skills & Experience:

• Current ARRT (R) certification; advanced CT credentials preferred
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Demonstrated proficiency with CT scanners and associated imaging software
• Minimum one year of recent, hands-on CT Tech experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
• Thorough understanding of safety protocols and patient positioning for optimal results
• Excellent interpersonal and patient-care abilities
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental guidelines
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging exams
• Adhere strictly to radiation protection practices and facility policies
• Accurately input patient and exam data into electronic medical records
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff regarding technical findings and urgent results
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area at all times
