A hospital-based imaging opportunity in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with advanced skills in CT imaging and angiography procedures. This contract assignment offers a dynamic work schedule and the chance to apply specialized expertise in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans, including angiograms and biopsies, adhering to hospital protocols
- Use 64-slice GE CT scanners to produce clear diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging results and patient care
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with safety and radiation regulations
- Provide on-call support and weekend coverage as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in CT scanning with significant exposure to angiograms and biopsy procedures within a hospital setting
- Proficiency with 64-slice GE scanners, trauma imaging, and EPIC electronic medical records system
- Valid ARRT and ARRT CT certifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Massachusetts Radiation License required
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week on a Supplemental 119-7% pay supplement
- 4-day workweek: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
- Includes day and evening shifts on a 4x10 schedule
- On-call responsibilities and some weekend shifts expected
