Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification or registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT preferred)
- Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Demonstrated proficiency with imaging protocols and patient positioning
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to radiation and contrast administration
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and commitment to accurate, timely results
- Valid state licensure and up-to-date BLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring precise image quality and patient comfort
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures while observing proper safety standards
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting as necessary
- Accurately document procedures and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless workflow and patient-centered care
- Manage contrast media administration and monitor patient response
- Assist with inventory control and equipment quality assurance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
