Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification or registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT preferred)
  • Proven experience operating CT imaging equipment in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency with imaging protocols and patient positioning
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to radiation and contrast administration
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accurate, timely results
  • Valid state licensure and up-to-date BLS certification

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring precise image quality and patient comfort
  • Prepare and position patients for CT procedures while observing proper safety standards
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting as necessary
  • Accurately document procedures and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless workflow and patient-centered care
  • Manage contrast media administration and monitor patient response
  • Assist with inventory control and equipment quality assurance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
