Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Imaging program
• Valid certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or equivalent
• Active state licensure for radiologic technologists
• Prior experience in CT imaging within a healthcare setting preferred
• Up-to-date BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort
• Utilize and maintain advanced CT equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed
• Apply appropriate radiation protection measures for patients and staff
• Review images for quality assurance and assist radiologists in interpreting results
• Document procedures and maintain records in compliance with facility standards
• Follow infection control and safety regulations at all times
• Participate in team meetings and support a collaborative care environment
