Key Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification and current state licensure
  • Demonstrated experience operating CT imaging equipment
  • Proficient in patient positioning, protocol selection, and image acquisition
  • Solid knowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulatory compliance
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and the clinical team
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for CT examinations with a focus on comfort, safety, and optimal imaging results
  • Operate CT equipment and select appropriate scanning protocols as directed by physicians
  • Ensure accurate documentation, patient identification, and image labeling
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any questions or needs
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as necessary
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other medical staff for seamless workflow and patient care
  • Uphold strict standards of confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
