CT Tech CT Technologist | Brockton, Massachusetts

Step into a dynamic imaging department at a busy level 1 trauma and stroke medical center, where expertise and teamwork drive exceptional patient care. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services in a well-supported environment featuring both GE and Siemens scanners. You will collaborate with an experienced group of professionals, typically working in a two-tech model with a team of 5 to 7 technologists on overnight shifts.

Schedule:

• 36-hour workweek: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT required)
• Proficiency with GE and Siemens CT equipment strongly preferred
• Experience working in a trauma and stroke facility or a fast-paced imaging department
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving situations and prioritize patient care in high-acuity settings
• Valid state licensure and BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment, with a focus on quality and safety
• Operate and troubleshoot GE and Siemens CT systems as needed
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and supportive care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to coordinate workflow and prioritize urgent cases
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and departmental protocols
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times
