CT Technologist - Bronx, NY

Seeking an experienced and highly skilled CT and CT/PET Technologist for a contract opportunity starting October 10th. This position is located in a dynamic healthcare setting and offers multiple shift options: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, or 10am-6pm. Candidates with availability for all three shifts are encouraged to specify this in their application.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current registration/licensure as a CT Technologist (required)
• Certification in CT and PET modalities strongly preferred
• At least one year of recent experience in a CT or CT/PET imaging role
• Strong knowledge of patient safety and image quality standards
• Excellent technical skills with CT and PET scanners
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clinical teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET/CT imaging procedures as ordered by healthcare providers
• Adhere to established protocols for patient positioning, imaging parameters, and radiation safety
• Ensure accuracy in patient identification and exam documentation
• Support patient care by explaining procedures and addressing patient needs or concerns
• Monitor equipment performance and immediately report any technical issues
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging
