CT Technologist in Bronx, NY

Schedule/Hours:

• 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
• 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Current registration and licensure as a CT or CT/PET Technologist (required)
• Demonstrated proficiency with advanced CT technology and PET/CT scanning protocols
• Strong knowledge of patient safety measures, including radiation protection
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare staff
• Prior experience in a hospital or health facility imaging department is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET/CT imaging procedures following established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare patients for exams, review medical histories, and provide clear procedural explanations
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for reading by radiologists and physicians
• Collaborate with other technologists, nurses, and providers to coordinate workflow and enhance patient experience
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all regulatory, privacy, and safety guidelines
