CT Technologist - Bronx, NY

An experienced imaging professional is needed to provide high-quality CT and PET/CT diagnostic services in a contract role. This part-time position is specifically designed for coverage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping a busy healthcare setting deliver timely and accurate imaging to support patient care.

Schedule:

• Part-time hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS license required
• Current ARRT certification required
• CT certification required
• Recent hospital experience in an imaging department is essential
• Skills in both CT and PET/CT imaging modalities
• Certifications must be clearly listed on the resume
• Strong attention to detail and ability to comply with imaging protocols
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and clinical staff

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and PET/CT equipment to capture clear, diagnostically-accurate images
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing any concerns
• Ensure proper documentation of patient information and imaging records
• Maintain a clean and organized imaging area, following safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals for optimal patient care
