CT Technologist - Bronx, New York

Seeking a skilled CT/PET Technologist with expertise in imaging for a part-time contract position. This role is critical in delivering precise diagnostic imaging services, ensuring the highest standard of patient care within a leading healthcare facility.

Schedule:

• Monday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS License required
• Current ARRT certification required
• CT certification required
• Previous hospital experience is essential
• Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment, including CT and PET technology

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and PET imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper radiation protection standards
• Accurately document procedures and label images for review
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver precise diagnostic results
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and report malfunctions as needed
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and facility protocols regarding radiologic practice
