- Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Qualifications:
- Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT Certification required
- CT Certification required
- Proven experience in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated proficiency with CT and PET modalities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate state-of-the-art CT and PET imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their safety and comfort
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and the medical team to interpret and deliver timely imaging results
- Adhere to all department protocols and regulatory standards for radiation safety and infection control
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient interactions
- Troubleshoot imaging equipment and report any malfunctions promptly
