Schedule:
- Full time, 13-week contract
- Shift: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- PET/CT experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of CT and PET protocols, safety guidelines, and instrumentation
- Valid state licensure as required
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with a diverse patient population
- Experience with EMR and PACS systems is highly valued
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT imaging according to physician orders and department protocols
- Ensure accurate patient identification, pre-procedure screening, and preparation
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely, actionable results
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues promptly
- Document imaging procedures, results, and patient interactions in electronic medical records
- Adhere to infection control standards and HIPAA regulations
