Seeking a skilled imaging professional with experience in CT and CT/PET technology for a full-time opportunity. Schedule:
- Full time, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT certification (CT required).
- Demonstrated experience operating both CT and CT/PET scanners.
- Familiarity with radiologic safety standards and protocols.
- Current BLS certification (must be valid through the contract duration).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality imaging.
- Excellent communication skills and patient interaction abilities.
- Minimum of one year recent experience in CT or CT/PET imaging preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and hybrid CT/PET scans based on physician orders.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Accurately transmit images and maintain up-to-date records within the hospital PACS system.
- Follow all safety guidelines for radiation protection, infection control, and equipment use.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff.
- Monitor imaging equipment for functionality and arrange maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Provide clear instructions to patients throughout the imaging process.
