A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in Imaging – CT, CT Tech, or CT/PET Tech. This contract role spans 13 weeks and requires strong technical ability as well as a patient-centered approach to care. The position is based in Bronx, NY.
Schedule:
- Five 8-hour day shifts per week
- Specific days and times will be discussed during the interview process
Requirements:
- Valid ARRT(CT) certification
- BLS certification
- Active NY State License
- Experience performing CT and/or PET imaging
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and/or PET scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring safety and comfort
- Accurately document patient information and scan data in electronic health records
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare team members
- Maintain equipment and adhere to quality control standards
- Uphold infection control and patient privacy policies
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and positive environment for patients and staff
Additional Details:
- Candidates expressing interest in permanent placement are preferred
- A second interview will require attending an in-person scan demonstration, lasting 3-4 hours, with compensation provided for your time
- The facility is open to temporary-to-permanent arrangements for well-matched professionals
