Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent required
- Previous experience operating CT and PET/CT equipment
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Detail-oriented with excellent technical and communication skills
- Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for CT and PET/CT scans, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Operate imaging equipment according to established protocols and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to assess image quality and diagnostic relevance
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshooting as needed and reporting issues
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety measures at all times
