Step into a pivotal imaging role supporting high-quality patient care as an experienced CT/PET Technologist. This full-time contract opportunity requires a motivated individual eager to make an immediate impact in a dynamic healthcare setting in Brooklyn, NY. You’ll operate state-of-the-art equipment for both CT and PET scanning, working alongside a skilled and supportive team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time position
  • 5.5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift (NBO schedule)

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification and registration as a CT Technologist required
  • Proven experience performing both CT and PET imaging procedures in a clinical environment
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in diagnostic imaging
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ensuring excellent patient care
  • Ability to adapt rapidly and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Immediate availability highly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
  • Review imaging orders, patient histories, and tailor procedures as needed for optimal results
  • Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot minor issues, and report abnormalities
  • Accurately document and maintain patient records in accordance with facility protocols
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for imaging review and diagnosis support
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
