CT Technologist in Brooklyn, NY

Schedule:

• Weekends only (Saturday and Sunday)
• Choice of shifts:
  • 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • 4:00 pm – 12:00 am

Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Imaging Technology, specifically with experience in CT and PET/CT modalities.
• Current and active professional license as required by state regulations.
• Proven ability to perform CT and/or PET scans accurately and efficiently.
• Prior experience working in a clinical or hospital imaging setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Commitment to upholding safety protocols and providing compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and PET/CT imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assess and prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including imaging results.
• Ensure safe operation and proper maintenance of imaging equipment according to protocol.
• Stay informed about advances in imaging technology and best practices.
