Seeking an experienced professional to perform essential CT and PET/CT imaging in a dynamic hospital environment. Schedule:
- Part-time: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Qualifications:
- Current NYS Radiologic Technologist License required
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- CT certification required
- Certifications must be listed on your resume
- At least one year of hospital-based imaging experience necessary
- Strong proficiency performing CT and PET/CT scans
- Excellent patient communication and care skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education throughout procedures
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment
- Verify patient identification and correctly input information into hospital information systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal diagnostic imaging
- Adhere to safety regulations and infection control policies
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
