CT Technologist - Brooklyn, NY

Make an impact as an experienced imaging technologist, specializing in CT and CT/PET procedures. This part-time opportunity offers a dynamic schedule with shifts on Monday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and Saturday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. This contract position enables you to leverage your technical skills in a hospital environment, supporting essential diagnostic services for patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
• CT Certification required
• Previous experience working in a hospital setting with CT and/or PET imaging
• Ability to work independently on overnight weekend and weekday shifts
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Detailed understanding of imaging safety protocols

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and CT/PET imaging equipment according to established protocols
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate image acquisition and patient positioning
• Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear explanations and ensuring comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and submit imaging results for diagnosis
• Follow all hospital and imaging department safety and infection control standards
• Monitor and evaluate equipment to ensure optimal performance and timely maintenance
