  • Monday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
  • Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hospital settings with advanced proficiency in CT and PET imaging
  • Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • CT certification required
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to follow established protocols and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for CT and PET scans while ensuring safety and comfort
  • Operate imaging equipment and perform scans according to physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists
  • Maintain meticulous records, including patient histories and imaging results
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to support seamless patient care
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control standards and hospital policies
  • Provide clear instructions and explanations to patients regarding procedures
