CT Technologist | Brooklyn, New York

Bring your expertise in imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your skills as a CT and CT/PET Tech. This full-time contract assignment spans 13 weeks and is ideal for professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact with leading-edge diagnostic technologies.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. shifts

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT or CT/PET Technologist (ARRT or NMTCB)
• Updated state licensure, if required
• Previous experience in both CT and PET/CT imaging
• Familiarity with imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety
• Strong communication abilities to interact with colleagues and patients
• Proficiency with PACS and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and PET/CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Assess and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues
• Follow all regulatory guidelines pertaining to patient care, image quality, and radiation safety
• Ensure up-to-date recordkeeping and timely data entry into hospital systems
