Seeking an experienced CT/PET Technologist with strong imaging expertise to support a busy department for a 13-week contract. This role requires a candidate who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and is open to exploring long-term or perm opportunities after the contract period. The position is based in Brooklyn, NY.

Schedule:

  • 5 shifts of 8 hours each week (Days)
  • Specific shifts and days will be discussed during the interview process.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT(CT) certification required
  • Active New York State license in radiologic technology
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CT and PET/CT imaging modalities
  • Previous experience in a medical imaging environment preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic clinical team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate high-quality CT and PET/CT scans as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
  • Operate imaging equipment with strict adherence to protocols and safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and thorough patient records
  • Ensure proper functioning, cleaning, and maintenance of imaging equipment
