Step into a vital healthcare role supporting advanced patient diagnostics with cutting-edge technology. This contract position spans 13 weeks and seeks a dedicated professional skilled in imaging, specifically as a CT Technologist. Focused expertise and a strong clinical background are essential for successful performance in this medical imaging setting.

Schedule:

  • 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

  • Active BLS certification
  • Current ARRT (CT) credential
  • Valid NY state radiologic technologist license
  • Prior experience with GE CT imaging equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform CT procedures independently and accurately

  • Adaptability and professionalism within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Willingness to consider transitioning to a permanent position if the fit is right

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of CT imaging exams as ordered by attending providers, ensuring adherence to department protocols and safety practices
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing information and reassurance throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and quality assurance logs
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to ensure timely and precise diagnostic outcomes
  • Care for and maintain CT equipment, including troubleshooting and basic maintenance
