Schedule/Hours:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Maintain ARRT competency and adhere to clinical, technical, and safety standards
  • Perform exams according to established department protocols
  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, ensuring all relevant anatomy is captured
  • Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and education, including contrast administration as directed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection control and sterile technique protocols
  • Safeguard compliance regarding medical necessity, coding, consents, and equipment maintenance
  • Support and mentor students or less experienced technologists
  • Stay actively engaged in ongoing education and professional development

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT registration; compliance with continuing education
  • Solid experience in CT imaging and equipment operation
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with initiative and sound judgment
